Appellate Law

When a party is unhappy with a trial Court’s order, he or she may choose to appeal said order; or, if the other side is unhappy, he or she may seek an appeal in which case, we would be defending a brief on behalf of our clients and could involve oral argument before the Indiana Court of Appeals. The next step in the state appellate process is to seek transfer to the Indiana Supreme Court, where a case is argued through briefing and also from time to time through oral argument.
