"Big Band Blast"

"Envision Jazz Festival"
Thursday night’s concert - the first of the three day festival - features festival
showcase-winning students’ vocal jazz ensembles, the Junior Representative Band,
and the music of Dee and her trio featuring Tony Foster, Russ Botten, and Greg Williamson.

February 8, 2008 - Friday
"WinterSong Music Festival"
The WinterSong Music Festival is a 10-day festival celebrating the joy of music through
a wide range of performances and workshops across West Vancouver. This year Dee and her trio featuring Tony Foster, Russ Botten, and Greg Williamson will perform for the WinterSong Cabaret Opening Night Gala Concert.

February 22 & 23, 2008 - Friday & Saturday
"Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival - Celebrating Hamp’s 100th Birthday"
Hamp was dedicated to passing the music on to the next generation. In the Friday night concert, acknowledged masters meet up with some of the hottest young players around. Lessons will be learned and musical sparks will fly! Featured ‘Masters and Mentors’ artists include: Dee Daniels
with Sara Gazarek, vocals, Curtis Fuller with Ryan Porter, Hank Jones with Gerald Clayton and
Taylor Eigsti, piano, Bobby Hutcherson with Warren Wolf, vibes, and Jon Hendricks with
Sachal Vasandani, vocals. On Saturday evening, Dee joins the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra,
along with vocalist, Kevin Mahogany.

"Capilano College Concert"
As one of the founding artists of the Cap Jazz Series, it is only fitting that Dee shares the 10th anniversary celebrations with her joyous voice. Dee returns to the stage with the Nite Cap Vocal Jazz Ensemble and “A” Band big band... always a fun concert with great vocal and big band arrangements by director, Rejéan Marois!
